I've put my 1st/1st copy of Carrie up for sale on Ebay. If you're interested, let me know. I'd prefer to go through PayPal than Ebay where they're to take their share of the spoils. Thanks, everyone.

Re: Carrie 1st/1st For Sale $600 OBO
I wish the condition was better, but if it was, I'd be wishing it was only $600 lol

Certainly not in the best of shape, but it's got character, which is something I value.

Re: Carrie 1st/1st For Sale $400
I know its a 1st/1st, but it's just in too bad condition for that price. Not only is the dust jacket in bad condition, the book itself seems to be pretty rough.
I'm all up for buying books in less than perfect condition when the price reflects the condition, but this one is a little too far gone for me.

Well I'm certainly not trying to get rich by selling. THAT is for sure. What would you consider an appropriate price? I'm certainly willing to negotiate.

Re: Carrie 1st/1st For Sale $400
For me, the price would have to be well below what I expect you are willing to take. The dust jacket is never going to be good enough to sit on my shelf, so I'd be wanting to hunt out a replacement, at additional cost. The book is also a bit tatty and so like I say, I doubt any lowball offer I would be happy with would meet your price bracket
That being said, maybe there are people out there who see more value than I do, but even then I wouldn't see anyone paying more than $200-250.
Maybe I'm way off though
Good luck.
