Shocklines First Edition (limited edition); First Printing as indicated by "first edition" and no other printings listed on copyright page. Signed three times by author:
- On special tipped in page by publisher. This page also contains denotation of "AC" (or Author's Copy) and inscription.
- Handwritten letter by author to friend "Jeff" ... author states that he had "been thinking about writing [novel] since I was in my early twenties".
- On back of additional dust jacket with generic inscription of "Best Wishes". This dust jacket was by Ace publisher, who printed the novel after the limited edition.
Hardcover and original unclipped Shocklines edition dust jacket protected by archival Mylar cover. Second signed Ace dust jacket NOT protected by archival Mylar cover so that author's signature can be seen.
