Skeleton crew signature by Stephen King in gold
I have a Stephen King book. Skeleton crew. It is a limited first edition. I looked under the front cover of the book and it has Stephen King signature on it in gold. Is that a good thing? I can't find it anywhere on line. It's published by scream/press.

We would need a photo as the Scream Press editions were usually signed in silver.

It's on every first edition front cover and your book is not limited

Re: Skeleton crew signature by Stephen King in gold
The OP seems never to have reposted but I think I can guess where the confusion lies...
The Trade 1st edition Skeleton Crew has the words "A limited first edition of this book has been published by Scream/Press". Many new collectors mistakingly think this applies to the book they have in their hands and not some other edition. I would say the OP has a 1st edition and they are referring to the embossed facsimile signature on the books cover as Shac originally said.
