Hi all,
Just wondering what your thoughts are on the Thinner Deluxe Lettered Edition. The order page went up in February 2014 and the book is still available to buy nearly two years on. Surely that's unheard of for 26 run lettered edition. I think it might have something to do with the price tag.

So have we come to a breaking point where the issue price for King Lettered editions is just too much money?

Lettered seemed to be priced for the select few and I'm curious with so many other editions popping up, what will their value be down the road? .

The 25 owners do not care what it costs or what it will be worth later on. It is a King signed limited edition, so the 25 "select few" are making sure they have ALL the King signed limited editions. (I think it was the only King S/L in 2015, just as Carrie was the only King S/L in 2014.allasorte wrote:Lettered seemed to be priced for the select few and I'm curious with so many other editions popping up, what will their value be down the road? .
As a side note, this book will be shipped on Monday.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what I've actually bought here? Based on the selling prices I'm kind of confused. Expecting a real high selling price, I placed the first bid just for the heck of it, with no thought of actually winning either auction.

They are out-of-series extras which PS Publishing issue to members of their "Collectors Club". They issue 26 copies and mark them as "lettered". Basically these are PC copies and not part of the numbered issue.deener555 wrote:Does anyone have any thoughts on what I've actually bought here? Based on the selling prices I'm kind of confused. Re: Thinner - Deluxe Lettered Edition (PS Publishing)
Thanks, I thought it must be something like that. The ISBN number listed on the Thinner auction is for the lettered edition, not the numbered edition, and I couldn't find any results at all when I researched the ISBN number listed on the Salem's Lot auction, but it's not the number of the numbered edition. Seems a little misleading (to put it nicely) if the books are indeed extra numbered editions. I'm curious to see the ISBN numbers when I receive them.

Here is a picture of the signature page of the Lettered Thinner. The letter is embossed in the book and not written.
