Hey Folks,

If you read the June newsletter you'll see that there are some forced updates that need to happen because of our hosting company updating their php database. I think we've got the historical price tool fixed, (cross your fingers) and the forum is up next.

Currently you'll see the main index page of the forums with some errors on top and the font is werid - hopefully that'll be resolved by tomorrow. (knock on wood)

Upgrade is done, the forums have been upgraded from version 3.0.3 to 3.0.11...If you see anything out of place or acting funny let me know.

I noticed a spammer right away - (and banned them) hopefully that was just a random coincidence. I've changed the authentication for new users to a 3D verion, but if you notice a higher than usual amount of spammers this week let me know, I may have to look at what has changed in this upgrade.

I just deleted a lot of spam. The fix didn't help much.

I've deleted dozens of spam. I've tried banning the spammers, but I may have missed some. the new protocols are definitely NOT working.

I saw that ( and thanks for the deletions) - there's an option to integrate google's authentication into the forums now instead of the basic authentication built in. I'm researching that now and I'm hoping to get it into place within a day or two. We'll see if that helps.
