Wow, great remarques, great proofs, great laserdiscs. I haven't been here for a long time. My PC crashed and for some reason I kept forgetting to check this site.

I have about 300 laser discs, and at least 3 (maybe 4) working players, including the Pioneer Elite model. I just recently hooked it up to my 85" TV, and it works great! Although the aspect ratio does not fill the screen, now I can enlarge it digitally and it looks almost as good as a DVD.
