My newest, the UK proof of 11.22.63, front:

And the back:

Interestingly, this is numbered with a number that indicates many more than 70 (which Lilja posted) were published. Because H&S has indicated they will take measures against people selling these before the release of the book, I'm not disclosing the number.

Also, each page of this proof is overprinted with a statement "Embargoed Hodder & Stoughton". I've never seen this before.

Awesome.
Can't wait for IT to come out.

Last proof I picked up was the, I'm sure, ultra rare one about men cooking. Ha!

Might look at getting some Tower related engraving done on the back. Suggestions?

Very nice! Mistro Olsen does excellent work! It's good to see that his creations are as good as ever, even after the accident (which in itself would make a good SK short story)

That's because Little Sisters is not a Dark Tower book. The Dark Tower saga of 7 books all have "The Dark Tower" on the cover. Little Sisters does not.

Yeah I didn't want Little Sisters in this case, as to me it isn't a true member of the DT set. Just like the new story coming out next year...

Don't get me wrong, I love my gift edition of LSOE, and hope to pick up a gift edition of WTTK (if they do one), but didn't think they belong in this set...

Re Dolso's work, I'd love to get something done by hime one day. Maybe one for The Stand.

You didn't get this from Dick? There I go assuming again. Do you have a local guy? Or did you make this yourself?

Hey Tomas,
I just picked up you thought Dolso did this for me. No, with the cost of shipping to add to his amazing cases, I haven't taken the plunge and invested in something from him yet.

I had a local guy make this for me. I'd purchased a couple of small art easels off him (really basic, but good sizes for displaying some of my gift, S/L editions) and I sent him some photos of Dolso's work and explained what I was after. This is what he came up with for me.

It isn't as fancy/decorated as you'd expect Dolso to do, but like I mentioned, for someone who knows nothing about King's works or book collecting, I think he did a great job.

And the price was right too ;-)

It appears there are two different states of the UK proof of King's 11.22.63. Both are numbered but have very different numbering schemes. One has the statement "Embargoed/Hodder & Stoughton" on every page and the other doesn't. The covers are identical. Here are the two pages:

I apologize for the lousy scans, but I don't want to take the chance of harming the spine by opening them too widely.

I just got the first of these. I also got a copy of the Publisher's letter, but I'm not posting it until well after the book is published. I don't want to take any possibilities that it could disclose my contact.
