Re: Showcase your SK collectibles!
Does anyone know why there is at least 2 sketch variants for LRH #5?
I thought I had a set of 5 and it turns out I have two different 5's but not a 4.
I wonder if the guy at the comic book store knew that...

The issue on the right of The Long Road Home #5 is actually the color variant. I don't know why they issued them that way. There were both color and sketch variants issued for all the Dark Tower comics except Battle of Jericho Hill. No sketch variants were issued for that arc. I guess sales were just too low to justify them.
Similarly, The Stand American Nightmares #5 does not have a sketch variant although the first four of that arc do. The latest arc, Soul Survivors, does not have any sketch variants.
What is the significance of the Life magazine? Does it have King information in it?

I like those TV GUIDES!
Looks like Stephen King has an article on Little League Baseball in the LIFE magazine.

Thanks. I gave up on them after The Long Road Home. Just too many. But I guess I will see if the local store can get me a #4. They're pretty good about that.jhanic wrote:The issue on the right of The Long Road Home #5 is actually the color variant. I don't know why they issued them that way.

Bought these for $75 each back in the day from LOCUS magazine. They must of had a bunch of them because they were in their classified ads for months. Naturally, I only bought one of each.
