Why do you think they would not want you to make a traycase but find a slipcase acceptable? Seems kind of random to me.

Re: January Slipcase (Joyland) update
Their reasoning was that the only real difference between the lettered and limited editions was that the lettered came with a traycase (and where the numberline is they put a letter vs a number I assume) otherwise they were identical. They felt that offering an aftermarket traycase for the limited editions would take away from the uniqueness of the lettered. Also there was come concern about people mistaking an aftermarket traycase for and official product from Hard Caseajw2910 wrote:Why do you think they would not want you to make a traycase but find a slipcase acceptable? I think to any informed collector that argument doesn't seem like it makes a lot of sense, but it doesn't matter now anyway.

Re: January Slipcase (Joyland) update
Thanks for your comments Tomas. Makes sense.
Their reasons for asking adds to my opinion that there should be more of a difference between gift/numbered/lettered editions anyway. If they recognised an aftermarket tray case could take away from the uniqueness of their edition, perhaps they should have put a bit more in to that edition.
That being said, the price was quite amazing and no one can argue against value for money.

Tomas just received my slipcase. It looks great, another job well done. Now if I could just get you to make more Salem's Lot limited tray cases I would be a happy man.

Sweet! I'm glad you like it! I'm expecting about half of the people to get their cases this week, the last of the single domestic orders are going out this evening or possibly tomorrow, multi Joyland orders (aka 2 or 3 joyland cases but no other titles) will start shipping Wednesday or so.Bob M wrote:Tomas just received my slipcase. Thanks for the explanation on why they asked you not to do the traycase. Makes more sense now.
