Stephen King will be releasing a new novella named ”UR”. This will be available on the Kindle but can also be downloaded from the Amazon site. You can read all about it on our blog, plus watch a video of Stephen King reading an excerpt of UR from the Kindle 2 :

Mr. King,

If you are out there reading this by some slim chance, I just want to tell you that I never have, nor will I ever, read a book by staring at a computer screen.

I read 'The Plant', but only after I burned $30 on HP ink cartidges so I could print it out on paper.

I apprecite the "experimentation with new forms of media" argument and all, but this is just one read I will have to do without until it has been printed on dead trees. Please keep in mind those of us who are still in the Stone Age, and print a nice, hardcover, trade edition of this work as soon as possible.

Your Buddy,

Randall Flagg

Amazon has made Ur available immediately.

Here's the link:

Thanks to Lilja's Library for the information.

I still will be waiting on something I can print out.
