Re: UK First Editions - standard pricing
It depends on which first editions you have. Some of the UK firsts are fairly scarce, so that's the main factor. Also, condition is important as usual.
I would not recommend simply adding a set amount to the retail price. This is true only in the case of King's more recent books, which, in the US, have immense printruns (over 1 million copies, usually!)

You may want to try Betts Books online for exapmles of retail. i.e. Misery is $50.00 retail. Good Luck

Bett's is a little high in this regard.
I would say:
$10 - The Dark Half, On Writing
$20 - Tommyknockers, Four Past Midnight, Misery
$30 - It
But even that is heavily dependent on condition, as well as if the jackets are priced or the blank export ones.

I have a related question regarding UK firsts. I don't know much about UK editions of King's books and I ran across a copy of Pet Sematary and was wondering how you can tell if it is a first edition and if it is a first edition what it is worth. Both the book and DJ are in fine condition.

The first Hodder & Stoughton edition should state on the copyroght page:SkippyD023 wrote:I have a related question regarding UK firsts. Copyright 1983 by Stephen King. And have no other dates or reprints.
The jacket price is £8.95 and that's what it is still worth.
