Post by needful_things4me » Thu Jul 07, 2011 2:37 pm

Friends,

I came across this information today and thought it worth passing along.

Stephen King’s Ghost Brothers of Darkland County Tickets Go On Sale Monday July 11, 2011

The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA recently announced the hotly anticipated spring 2012 world premiere Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, a chilling new musical with music and lyrics by John Mellencamp and script by Stephen King.

The project, more than a decade in the making, will have individual tickets go on sale Monday, July 11th through the Alliance Theater’s website. The production is scheduled for April 4 through May 13th, 2012.

Below is the link where tickets can be purchased.

Wonder how well it is selling. I actually just purchased tickets today (March 1, 2012 - 7 months after they went on sale) for the April 28 performance at 8:00 PM and was able to get two tickets in the front row (left orchestra).

Of course, one hour after I bought them today, SK's official website posted that you can enter the promo code KING10 at purchase to get $10 off per ticket and also be entered into a drawing for 2 tix to the premiere performance, after-party and a signed copy of "11/22/63". Just my luck. Grrrrr.....
