Yes, but mine is not "held on" by anything. It is free and clear of the proof.needfulthings wrote:Anyone else have a loose paperback cover wrapped around their Bachman Books galley proof? Held on with clear plastic dust wrapper? Aint Collecting Fun?

Is there any difference between that dust jacket and the regular trade dust jacket?

Re: THE BACHMAN BOOK PROOF DUST WRAPPER
I've experienced instances in which someone uses a trade cover on a proof. I just had one wherein the seller put a trade dust jacket on the ABA advanced copy of Gerald's Game. The ABA version came with a cardboard slipcase. This one didn't have it.

These jackets were sent out with ALL the Bachman Books proofs to the reviewers. Many of them have been lost since.needfulthings wrote:Anyone else have a loose paperback cover wraped around there Bachman Book galley proof? Held on with clear plastic dust wrapper.Aint Collecting Fun?

This is the first I've ever heard of this. What's your basis for this statement?Mr. Rabbit Trick wrote:These jackets were sent out with ALL the Bachman Books proofs to the reviewers.
