I noticed a this strange code on the second to last page inside a copy of Carrie. I'm pretty sure the one I have is a book club edition since it's lacking price/barcode (although it doesn't say). Same cover as 1st. I googled this sequence of characters and got 0 (related) hits, so mostly out of curiosity, I thought I'd ask around.

If there's no price on the DJ then it's a book club edition. I'm not familiar with that gutter code, but I can tell you it doesn't conform with codes that would be from Doubleday.
