Ugh! I probably should never have opened this thread. I am now suffering collection envy!
I am absolutely awe struck at the depth of some of these fantastic collections!

It's second or third on my reading list. I'm almost finished with McCammon's The Providence Rider, then I'm going to read Cronin's The Twelve. Then comes The Burn Palace.

Let us know. I'm in the middle of Fahrenheit 451. One of those classics that I just never got around to until now. The ideas apply even today, although I find the language a bit out dated (if that makes sense)

It's pretty good. There is a bit of supernatural in it, but mostly it's a police procedural/thriller novel. I enjoyed it.TheCollector wrote:Have you ready Burn Palace? Is it any good?

John, I'm probably spacing due to back-to-back 5 hour sleep nights, but what's " F&G " stand for? I see it's a proof of some kind but I just can't put any words that make sense with those lettters

Folded and gathered. It's a set of book signatures before they are bound. Many of the specialty publishers produce a few of these to make sure everything is okay before they go to the bindery.TheCollector wrote:John, I'm probably spacing due to back-to-back 5 hour sleep nights, but what's " F&G " stand for? I wasn't aware Grant did those, man learn something new every day - even after all these years. That's nice.
