Congrats, I'd love to get a photo of the limitation page for the site after your copy arrives. (which i see is going to be this fall for the signed version)

Also, anyone know the edition size for the unsigned deluxe?

Edit, I'd second the request for an unsigned deluxe edition. Maybe Ralph and I can coordinate shipping to each other so a UK sender only has to ship to one address here if there's someone willing.
It seems like there is no limitation for an order of the unsigned so perhaps it's possible, smart thinking!
A copy sets you back £65 each, shipping cost to my address would be around £11 (shipping to your address would have to be calculated later once the copies have arrived), shipped in a bundle package but for now it would both set you back £70,50 per copy....in dollars, around $96, I think.

I'd happily try for you both if you want me to.

Also, I think it's the same size as the unsigned edition: 242 x 262mm or 9.53 x 10.31 inches.
That's really nice of you, thank you! Actually I'd love 2 copies now that I'm thinking about it. Happy to pay the book cost ahead of time and shipping after, or can pay everything at once after you have the final costs.
Great! You are in luck, I just placed an order for two copies. I'll message you with some details for now, book cost up front and we'll work out shipping cost etcetera after.

As for the copies, I have two—correction three, on order including my own copy. I don't want to push my luck for it so if Ralph wants one I can try for him as well but just one copy then.

Great!

So I'll message you privately with the details, you're okay with sending your copy to Tomas as well?

It will save on shipping cost in the end.

I'll need to order it as well, and hopefully it will go through on their end without any hassle, especially since I will have four of these unsigned copies on order now. I'll know for sure when I receive the PDF confirmation.

First copy is up and offered on E-bay, now when I posted on Facebook yesterday that I managed to secure a signed copy I was directly messaged by people with similar offers (2K to 3K) but none reached this price. I declined them all by the way.

This is serious money, and sadly it always happens.

I'm also happy I can say I secured a copy of the limited edition. And was very happy with the price: £150 for a signed limited edition of 100 copies. Usually, it's $450 for a print run of 750 copies over at Cemetery dance...

Is it too late for an American to find a kind-hearted individual to help me ship one of the deluxe editions to the states? Haha

I wanted to get some important details on the upcoming unsigned deluxe edition of Hansel and Gretel, so I reached out directly to the publisher's support team to see what kind of production value we are looking at.

My goal was to find out if the unsigned deluxe edition has a limitation or print run and to uncover up the exact physical specifications (materials, paper stock, dimensions, and page count) so that we all know and have a complete record for our "database."

Here is the exact message I e-mailed to them:

"Hi there,

I have a question for you about the unsigned deluxe edition of Hansel and Gretel. I am part of collector's group, specifically interested in everything Stephen King and there is a forum that keeps tabs on all editions.

Now the signed edition has a print run, duh, of 110 copies but the unsigned edition states no such thing: is there a print run on this particular edition?

Also do you have anymore information for myself and others that you can share with me? Like page count, how many illustrations, materials used, width and weight.

Things like that, you know, every bit of information would be helpful to us.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best,"

Below is the detailed message I received, even more limited than a 1,000 copies I suppose. 😉
Good morning, Antoine,

Thank you for your patients, I have received the below response from the publisher:

Here's the specifications below, I don't have the number of interior illustrations but otherwise this should cover everything off:

• The unsigned copies are not limited, but the first print run is expected to be 500 copies.

• Book format: 228mm x 254mm; sewn hardback

• Slipcase: matt gold foil front and back on cream Brillianta real cloth

• Paper: Munken Rough 170gsm

• Envelope: 180gsm Fedrigoni Materica envelope printed 4/0 containing the 5 prints.

• Extent: 48 pages plus 5 prints: 2x colour, 3x black and white. Printed on 240gsm Symbol CS1 (coated on one side, illustration prints on coated side). Prints measure 225mm x 254mm.

I hope this answers your questions.

If you need anything further, let me know
