Hi all,
I'm building my collection of 1st/1st hardcover US edition Stephen King novels. So far I got the easy part out of the way
and have managed to collect basically all standard novels issued after 1983/1984.
So now I'm looking for the earlier books, but what's hard is that most of them are only available from sellers in the US.
This adds a huge additional cost for shipping since I'm located in The Netherlands.
Does anybody know any reliable sellers/dealers/collectors that offer the earlier books and are located in the EU or UK?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Roffa

Hello Roffa and welcome to the site.
We have a few UK & EU members here. I'm sure you will hear from one or two soon.
The older Doubleday first editions demand a premium due to supply and demand and condition. If you can find one that meets your collecting requirements I wouldn't hesitate to grab it, even if you have to pay the extra shipping from the US.
Many of these copies have been absorbed into collections now and rarely see the light of day.
The search for a great copy is all part of the collecting fun. Good luck.

You also have to consider "condition". An everyday normal book might cost $50, but a Fine/Fine copy of the same book might cost $500. I don't know which you collect.
The shipping costs are all over the place at the moment due to uncertanty over tarrifs and customs costs.

Re: Reliable sellers in Europe
Hi Roffa, welcome! So I have links for ebay.co.uk on buying UK buying pages, partially to help with this.
More broadly, here's a custom link for ebay.co.uk (Stephen King sorted by highest price first) with item locations just in Europe.
And here's UK only item locations/sellers on eBay
Here's a similar search for ABE (Stephen King sorted by highest price first) with item locations just in Europe, you can search within the results
