Question regarding Cemetery Dance Doubleday Artist Editions

Post by smashman »

Hey guys,

I am wondering if anyone else here bought a lifetime deal with Cemetery back in the day. (Early 2000s)

And if so, did you receive the Artist Editions of the Doubledays (Carrie, Night Shift, etc) as part of your deal?

I received all the gift editions. The only Artist one I have is "Carrie" which I do not recall ordering separately. They say I must have, but they have no record of the order, and neither do I. I certainly may be wrong, but it seems like they sent the "Carrie" Artist Edition to me and then left out the rest of the titles.

They are telling me the Artist editions were not included in the lifetime deal, but my understanding was only lettered editions were excluded.

Anyone else here have the same experience or any input?

Thanks!

I don't have any direct experience with their lifetime memberships. The closest piece of info I've got comes from an email last month where they were auctioning off a limited edition lifetime membership and a lettered edition lifetime membership (email copied below).

They say it's for a longtime customer, although, in my opinon, you have to weigh their statements against their historic business practices.

Neither of these specifically mention artist editions. I searched my email history but couldn't find anything more than what I'm pasting in....but I've swiched email systems a couple of times since the early 2000's so my records that far back are incomplete.

Thanks Tomas. I did see those same emails from them which shed no light for me.

I'm sure I have a copy of my agreement somewhere, I just have no idea where, unfortunately.
