Under The Dome Dust Jacket States?
Anyone ever see the different font color in Under the Dome dust jacket states? Both copies are first edition first prints. Curious if the discrepancy between the two dust jackets is a typical thing or if one could be in error or what? Thoughts?

Yes, that is a variant print release. Planned by the publisher.

I think I've only seen the white one myself, although I can't say I've been looking much either
I want to say the white one is a lot more common, so it's not a 50/50 split like Insomnia was with their covers. Any specifics available to share?

925,000 first print run. Two cover variants:
One with white lettering (more known)
One with dark gray lettering (I'm fairly confident this variant jacket is a smaller print run)
Not sure how many though on the grey lettering variant.

Interesting, thank you! I have definitely only ever seen the white lettering available previously. I've had both copies for a while though and always wondered why they differed. Thanks again for the info!

Re: Under The Dome Dust Jacket States?
No problem. Now, the idea (if I understood the publisher correctly) was to have two jackets, one to represent the start of The Dome (clear, clean, etc.) and the other represents a smoky, cloudy, polluted, etc. Dome ( because of everything trapped inside).
Not sure if that makes sense or not, but it's what I remember.

That makes perfect sense... though is interesting that a publisher would go that far haha. Also would think it would make more sense for later printings to represent the more smog-ridden dome lol but hey who knows.

For Stephen King, yes, the publisher will go that far. Anything by King for a marketing crew is solid gold.
