The Gunslinger

Post by Teddy »

I have a mint condition copy of a paperback of The Gunslinger which is an odd size and was wondering if there is any value to it. I believe it could be a rare find. Opinions are more than welcome!

Hi Teddy, More info is needed re your book. A picture would be great. There have been numerous editions of The Gunslinger published and it's impossible to identify what you have from what you have said.

Hey Teddy, yeah a picture is worth a thousand words as they say, but from your description is it possibly a PLUME paperback? Something like this perhaps?

I believe that you are correct. Unfortunately, that particular book is packed away. That being said, does it hold any value? If my memory serves me correctly, I have the copy you have displayed on the right side. Its mint by the way!

The bad news the one on the right is the common Plume 1st edition The one on the left is the rarer advance reading copy.

Dang it! I think I may have to unpack it! I need to know which one I have! Lol. Taking a second look, I don't remember my copy saying the dark tower beneath the Gunslinger title.
