Hello Everyone,
For those that don't know, Jerome Smith is the owner of thedarktower.org, I'm sure most if not all of you guys have been to the site or are still regulars to the site. I'm sorry to say that Jerome's health has taken a turn for the worse.
I don't have any inside information beyond what's been publicly posted and I encourage everyone to keep tabs on the thread that is going on at tdt.org around his health.

Ah I just got up this morning and saw the update, what can i say that hasn’t already been said; my condolences go out to his family. It’ll be a hard day for a lot of folks today.
I’m going to send a brief note via newsletter. Jerome touched many in the King community and I’m sure they would want to know and have a chance to connect with others and read and add to the wonderful comments many have put up on thedarktower.org thread.

Re: Health Updates for Jerome (thedarktower.org)
The world has moved on today, as we bid farewell to Jerome Smith, founder of The Dark Tower forum. Jerome was a gunslinger of words, a true knight of the White. His heart was as vast as Mid-World's endless plains, and his passion for Stephen King's universe brought ka-tet from all corners of the Earth.
Jerome fought bravely against the Crimson King's dark touch, his battle long and hard, but today he has crossed into the clearing at the end of the path. He leaves behind a legacy as enduring as the Tower itself, his spirit forever echoing in the halls of his creation. The forum he built stands as a testament to his vision, a place where dreamers and wanderers can gather and remember him.
Though he is gone from this world, he lives on in the stories, in the laughter and tears of those he touched. Mayhap he has found his own Tower, his own peace at the end of his journey. Hile, Jerome Smith, gunslinger and friend though we've never met in real-life. We will hold you in our hearts and minds, and your tale will be told as long as the beam holds true.
Long days and pleasant nights, Jerome. May your soul find its way through the doors of sleep, into the arms of those who have gone before. The wheel turns, and your name will not be forgotten. Thankee-sai, for all you have given us.
Rest in peace Jerome, and my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies go out to his son Michael and everyone of his loved ones. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers today.

Jerome was one of the kindest human being I've known. He helped me out A LOT when I started collecting King. I am very sad.
Does anyone know if his family needs help with anything? Is there a crowd-sourcing campaign?
