I am looking for 1st/1sts of The Shining and Firestarter. Jacket condition not important as long as the book itself is at least Very Good.
Thanks, Guys & Gals! Much appreciated!

Howdy,
If you're comfortable with it, I'd check the ABE and eBay links on the 1st edition page

Tomas' links are great because they put everything together for you, but make sure to do your due diligence on those eBay listings ... I just saw one where the title said "1st Printing" and there was a very clear picture of the dust jacket having "Book Club Edition" on the inside flap.
Must have been why they were asking $8.

I agree. So many of the EBAY listings are just awful. It seems like 75% of them say "1st Edition" when they're not even in the ballpark of being so.

I'd be tempted to say it's scammers but considering the number of "do i have a 1st edition" or "I have a 1st edition but it's missing xxx" emails I get I think folks are still confused.....in all fairness if you're going to get tripped up on what is/isn't a 1st edition, the Viking publications are the ones that are the most likely to do it.

I feel like you should have (if you don't already) a template reply to those emails you can cut/paste that points them to the 1st Editions area on your site.
