Well, I was afraid this was going to happen and it has ... I'm no longer able to attend the King Con at Las Vegas in October. When I first bought the ticket last year, I opted to have them mail it to me just in case.

Asking $150 through PayPal F&F, Venmo, or Zelle ... just looking to recoup the cost of the ticket. I will also mail it with tracking and signature required to make sure that it gets to the person.

Full disclosure that I'm trying to figure out if I can put it on eBay, but wanted to give someone on here first crack at it. If I can figure it out if it's allowed on eBay, I'll probably list it on Monday.

P.S. According to the King Con website, this sale (or ticket transfer) is allowed.

Yes transfers are definitely allowed. Just send us an email when the transfer is complete with the old & new owners info so we can update out records.

I just saw that the convention is doing a giveaway of the #469 S/L Coffin Edition of "The Stand" in the original shipping box with the alternate brass plate and a letter from the publisher of the book. Per the website, this special/limited edition is valued at ~$5,000.

If I can't transfer/sell the ticket, maybe I'll be lucky enough to win the drawing.

Reduced price to $100.

My understanding is that the convention is no longer doing electronic transferring of tickets; however, I paid extra at the time of buying this ticket so that I would have it in hand before the convention just in case I wasn't unable to attend.

Unless I hear differently, I believe that a person can attend the convention if they have a ticket in hand and are not waiting until they get to the convention to receive it. This would make the most sense for any other attendees who paid extra to get the ticket early.

Because of the above, as well as the convention happening in two weeks, I've decided that I will only sell the ticket to someone in the United States who I could mail it to prior to the convention. Please plan accordingly for USPS mailing times if buying at the last minute.
