Your “other” favorite author

So, I’m sure that for most forum members here, King is your favorite author, but who are the other authors you most enjoy?
Myself, I’m not very well read on King thus far. I read Cycle of the Werewolf, IT, and The Dark Half long ago when I was pretty young. I enjoyed the first two, though I was a bit disappointed by the ending of IT. Then I read the Dark Half when it was released and I did not care for it much at all.
So, thirty years later, I decided to give him another shot. I recently read The Shining and Sleeping Beauties and now I am nearly through The Gunslinger.
I greatly enjoyed the Shining. I liked Sleeping Beauties well enough, though I felt the middle portion could have been 100 pages or so shorter. So far, I’m loving the Gunslinger, though, I think Salem’s Lot will be next before moving on to Drawing of the Three.
All of that is my long precursor to saying, the authors I’ve been spending more of my time on over the years are:
Robert E Howard
Gene Wolfe
Steven Erikson
Joe R Lansdale
HP Lovecraft
Clark Ashton Smith
Edgar Allen Poe
Karl Edward Wagner
Fritz Leiber
And a host of others to a lesser degree
