When DESPERATION was first published by VIKING the price was printed with both U.S. & Canadian prices on the dust wrapper.

But when it's companion novel THE REGULATORS was printed it was done as two different 1st edition books one for the U.S. & one for Canada.
The U.S.1st edition was published by DUTTON.

with a $24.95 U.S. price.

And the Canadian 1st edition was published by VIKING with a $32.99 Canadian price.

So DESPERATION & the Canadian THE REGULATORS are both VIKING books.

Only if you collect foreign editions. (Canadian, UK, Australian are all foreign editions printed in English)

You really have to check facts before you pass on misinformation.
As you can see by the copyright page that the VIKING edition was also printed in the UNITED STATES.

as well as the DUTTON edition.
Image
And it should also be included just to round out the 1st EDITION DESPERATION U.S.A. & CANADIAN tie-in.

DO YOU HAVE BOTH 1st EDITIONS OF REVIVAL?
Image
THERE IS THE NORMAL 1st EDITION DUST WRAPPER.
Image
AND THEN THERE IS THE EXCLUSIVE "BARNES & NOBLE" ONE!

I have both. They will be included in the upcoming sale of by collection by Betts. I always wondered how much Barnes & Noble paid to get that.

For some reason there are two 1st editions of the U.K. NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES 1993.
Image
They both have the same copyright page.
Image
but they do have different pricing.
ImageImage
and the book has only one black & white image but the placement in each book is different.
Image
in the 15.99 copy the image faces page 448 but in the 16.99 copy it faces page 433 that is in the opposite direction..

I have an edition of Just After Sunset that only has one price listed on DJ of $32.00. Cover page has "First Scribner hardcover edition November 2008" and the numbers 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 and "Manufactured in the United States". I am assuming that this was a Canadian release of this book not unlike the The Regulators as indicated at the beginning of this thread?

Are the ISBN#s the same?

Although there is another 1st edition the COLLECTOR'S SET that was issued with a DVD with 25 part video series.
