Yes. I wish this site tracked value on it.

No....Bachman Books first print hardcover by NAL (New American Library) is out there. It has a full number line of 10987654321 and $19.95 price printed on jacket. It's hard to locate copies in any condition of the first print hardcover. PLUME paperback also released a first edition paperback with full number line.

Hope this helps.

The Bachman Books was 1st published in Oct 1985 in two states a large size paperback $9.95 (300,000 copies) & a hardcover $19.95 (25,000 copies) most stores only carried the soft cover due to price. In fact in the back of the soft cover edition there was an ad asking you to mail in to get a " Special Hardcover Collector's Edition" $19.95 plus $1.50 postage or buy from your local bookstore I assume they would order it for you.

The U.K.hardcover was published in 1986.

Unlike the U.S. edition the U.K. did not reproduce the cover art of the paperbacks.

My notes say a total of 15,000 first edition hardcover copies were done. It's one of the scarcer King trade edition hardcovers.

I use the 25,000 copies number based on the letter that came with the advance reading copy along with a loose wrap-around dust jacket.
