I have a copy of misery with a code on the last page of RD 9 W. What does this code mean?

Similar to the other book, this is likely some sort of printer code - although with Misery being a Viking book there's no one I know that has comprehensive info on Viking print codes. You'll want identify if it's a 1st edition or not by looking at the DJ price of $18.95 and the words "First Published by Viking......." on the copyright page.
