Are you looking for a specific number or book? Maybe you have a book someone is looking for... post it here! If you'd like to advertize your own ebay listings here as well that would be fine, just don't spam the boards.

Wanted: slipcases

Post by Spaceman Spiff »

Hi, all. I'm looking for modestly-priced generic slipcases which might fit the books shown. Of course, not with any kind of artwork or anything, just blank slipcases. (These books are signed by SK and I'd like to protect them). The book on the left is a hardcover (from the U.K.) and the other three are paperbacks. Just wondering if there might be any blank slipcases out there which might coincidentally fit these books. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I'm aware of this site which seems like it would fit the bill pretty well.
https://slipcasebooks.com/contactus.htm

I've sent a few people to that site over the years but no one has ever reported back on whether they actually used them or not. And if so, how the pricing and quality was. If you wind up trying them out please report back on your experience!

Those ones aren’t worth getting slip cases for

Worth is what a person is willing to pay.

From a strictly monetary standpoint if these are signed by SK like the OP says then they should be at least $200 per book. I think you may have glossed over the signed by SK part.

And why do you think signed books are only worth $200-$300 more? Signed it’s sell for like $3,000, I mean paperback ones yea probably unless if it’s rage or any of the other Bachman books.

I can help! If you like these kinds of simple slipcases, I can build some for you, no problem.

You can find some examples of my work here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn=tr ... E&_sacat=0

Thanks OneFathom, I didn't know you did acrylic cases. Those look nice.

Unrelated to OneFathom's post -
I have deleted the last few replies here it is going off topic.
Let's stay focused on OP's question on finding basic slipcases for his books.

Thanks, Tomas. I've snagged so many of your slipcases over the years I figured the paperbacks needed some love, too.

Going through old posts and figured I'd answer this one. I've use this company for many slipcases and have been pleased with their product.
