Wizard and glass first edition

Post by Stevenemo86 »

I just want to check and see if anyone could provide me with an answer. I'm finding some wizard and glass hardcovers 1997 grant copies for reasonable price used on ebay and abe. My question is if it's a hard copy and the dust jacket is the picture of the one listed on this site is that a first esition then? I guess my question is did they do 2nd or 3rd printings with that same dust jacket or just the original run. I ask because there arent pictures of the copyright page availabe

Grant only published one trade edition of Wizard and Glass of 40,000 copies. A signed limited edition in a slipcase of 1250 copies was also done.

Reason I ask is because I found a copy of the grant 97 edition for a really good price. Almost too good to be true. The dust jacket is the same and everything. I just dont know what to do. I'm not aware of any book club editions of this or other printings. Could use some advice

I would advise you to grab that copy if it's in fine/fine condition and it's less than $100. Check out https://www.stephenkingcollector.com/limited/dt4.html.
