Custom Wooden traycases for Under the Dome! - $110 plus shipping
I'm pleased to announce an agreement with bookslipcase.com to offer you custom wooden traycases for both the Trade, Gift, and S/L editions of Under the Dome! For those of you not familiar with the company it's run by Dick Olson who's been making wooden cases for 10 years. I have received a couple of them and the workmanship is exquisite.
Cases are individually hand-crafted from solid wood which offers excellent protection for your book and adds beauty to your shelf. Every case requires between 6 to 9 hours to construct, sand, stain and finish.
Each is made one at a time and has 6 layers of High Gloss polyurethane finish, a permanent interior gray felt liner and black velvet ribbon 'pull' to assist in removing the book. The spine features a brass plate attached to the wood with the title of the book. The engraved cover is attached to the case with two brass hinges. All of the glued corners are reinforced for added durability.
The S/L and Collector Edition has a Cherry Stain which goes well with the belly-band. The cards are nestled at the top of the book the way that Simon & Schuster shipped them.
The Trade Edition has a Maple stain, somewhat lighter in color. The Trade Edition of the book will fit in the Collector-S/L case, but there will be about 3/8" extra space in the length. The S/L-Collector Edition will fit in the Trade Case IF YOU STORE THE CARDS ELSEWHERE.
The cost for each case is $110 plus $10.70 shipping anywhere in the USA. For orders outside of the USA please e-mail me directly with your mailing address for a paypal invoice with actual shipping costs for your country.

Q&A
Why shouldn't i just place an order straight thru bookslipcase.com? - It would be much more expensive. If you asked for a one-off case like this one it would run you $150 plus shipping. We've been able to get the price so low because all orders are going to be turned in at once and then made in a batch, reducing the price by almost 30%. Also they're not very set up for internet ordering or taking payment (credit cards or paypal) online.
How long will this case be available for ordering? Because this is a special offer based on the fact that all cases are going to be done at once, you can only order here untill January 31st. At that time all orders will be sent in and the cases created.
Will you be shipping the cases yourself? - No, I will send all of the orders and info to bookslipcases.com as a batch and they will ship directly to you.
What if there's a problem, who do I contact? - E-mail me, I will take care of any problems or get them worked out for you. It's just like ordering any other case from me, except the company making the cases will ship directly to you so we're not shipping the same case twice. That keeps the cost down.
When will I receive my case? - Orders will be filled in order they're received. Cases will start shipping the first week of February and you should receive yours no later then the end of February, depending on where your order is in line. You can always check on your order by e-mailing me at any time.
Where can I place my order? - Click Here
Will you be making more cases available for other titles? - Yes the plan is to offer between 2-4 titles per year at a similar discount. If there's a specific case you want to see e-mail me. The more requests I get the higher up the priority list the title becomes.
