I'm passing on it. That kind of $ can buy a few nice copies of other King collectibles. Don't get me wrong, I believe the value will be there and the production over the top. But, still passing on it.

yeah - think I'm with you on that - its a lot of money.....
my two favourite collectibles are Salems Lot - S/L which I acquired at retail and The Stand - bought on the secondary market - would I trade both for a Carrie lettered - nope....
Wonder if it will appreciate or fall like the Tom Gordon debacle?

Re: Carrie - PS Deluxe Edition (To Buy Or Not To Buy)
Lettered editions are never very many copies, but the issue price is high, even for a lettered edition... Considering how many lettered editions have had a hard time holding their value on the secondary market lately I'd have a hard time justifying the purchase
Of course, lettereds are usually priced outside of my comfort zone, so there may be a bit of bias against it on my part.

I'm passing on it. Just too expensive for me.

Re: Carrie - PS Deluxe Edition (To Buy Or Not To Buy)
On a somewhat unrelated note, I'm glad to see that the lettered copies are limited to 26 copies, since that's how many letters there are! I've always had a real hard spot with 52 "lettered" copies. I'm thrilled to own 1 of only 26 copies of a book, but if there are 52 copies (or more) floating around out there it just does seem that special. Stephen King books would be one of the very few exceptions. Expecting only 26 lettered copies probably isn't practical with the popularity of Stephen King, but with authors that are not even in the same ballpark as him, 52 lettered copies is a bit much for me. And don't even get me started on additional PC "lettered" copies being offered for sale. Now who knows how many copies are out there.

It's looks like they sold out...the question is who bought them? I know I didn't
