Joe r lansdale.hot in december
I know this was maybe mentioned on a king post but I just got my hot in December s/l edition from dark regions press and wondered what number I had but here no number. What does that usually mean for signed limited edition?

I'm not familiar with this book. Was it meant to be numbered?
Generally S/L books are numbered something like, "this copy is # 123 of 500 signed copies".
If yours has a blank space where the number should be written, then it is probably a "spare", usually called Publisher's Copy. The publisher makes extra copies in case of damage etc. They usually sell these off at a discounted price if they are not required.

Yes the book was meant to be numbered of like 350 copies I believe. It's a brand new book from dark regions press. I was curious just because I've never had one in my own collection of anything not numbered.

Ever since the recession King PC books have taken quite a beating. They sell at a discount (sometimes, quite substantial) to their numbered counterparts. I can't say for sure the same goes for Lansdale fans but the current trend for King is numbered is better than PC as of today.jflotx512 wrote:So are PC worth more in value or how does that work?

I'm pretty sure the signed limited editions are just now being shipped (starting last week) from the publisher, so if you received it unnumbered from Dark Regions Press, it sounds too me like an error on their part.

Why not ask Dark Regions if you can send it back and get a numbered one or have a number put into yours?
