So the google captcha integration was a complete failure. Probably 20 spammers hit in the 4 hours I had that up. So I went with another option...Basically you have to answer a custom question which I set to "what is King's first name". Apparently this sort of simple Q&A is unanswerable robot spammers ( vs the imaged based versions that ARE crackable by robots)
The Good news:
- Zero new spammers registered since this latest authentication method hit
The bad news:
- Some of the spammers that registered yesterday and the day before started posting last night.
I've gone in and just mass disabled the accounts of everyone that joined in the last 48 hours. I think that'll solve the problem (knock on wood). Keep an eye out and I'll do the same. If we make it thru the weekend without the board getting flooded then we should be good.

John
I haven't seen any spammers since Friday morning, what about you John? I think we're in the clear (knock on wood).
Also as an FYI I got new links to open up in a new window, instead of just opening as a frame within the site. It only affects new links going forward. Old links will still open within the site table.
