I just ordered a Gift Edition ($75) and a signed limited ($350). The lettered edition at $1500 is out of my price range.

I think it's really neat that they're having a different artist illustrate each story!

I agree, the five illustrators are great. I'm thrilled it's more then just Chadbourne. Not that I don't like the guy but there's been a lot of Chadborne/CD lately

I haven't heard about the cover artist before (Tomislav Tikulin) but I like the cover.

I purchased the limited, but was not too keen on paying $1500 for the lettered copy. Maybe some day when a rich uncle dies I'll look into it. But first I'll need to find a rich uncle.

I'm actually impressed that this is something they've had at the printer since September, and I'm a little relieved (for once) CD is not asking for cash up front on a project that may not see the light of day for several years.

The artwork and cover look great. And yes, I also agree, there has been way too much Chadbourne at CD lately. So, the inclusion of multiple artists is a nice touch.

I agree, it is a nice surprise to see it has already been at the printers, and so we don't have to wait for ever for delivery.

Based on previous CD publications (perhaps Buick 8 is the closest to compare), would anyone have an idea if this book is likely to fit in to the US Post International Flat Rate Envelope? Just trying to see if I could get a private seller to ship it a bit cheaper than the $60 CD need to charge...

Cheers

According to a post at TDT.org, Brian Freeman says there are only about 40 copies of the s/l left.
