Question on DT books

Post by jwilkinson01 » Mon Apr 26, 2010 11:58 am

Hello, I am new here and new to collecting SK books. Today I was actually just looking for some reading copies of the DT books that would still look good on my shelf. But after looking all morning I am confused. Can anyone tell me why the 2003 Viking editions are selling for more than some of the original Grand editions? For example, my mint 1st/1st copy of The Wast Lands set me back $30, but the cheapest I have seen the Viking version is $65.

Thanks!
Jason

Jason, I don't have a good answer for that, except that the market sets the price, and I guess people are willing to pay more for the Viking issues. I don't know why.
