Pet Sematary bound manuscript copy

Post by ur2ndbiggestfan »

I own two volumes bound in red cardboard binders, labeled "PET SEMATARY, I by Stephen King" and "PET SEMATARY, II by Stephen King" respectively on the front covers. The first page in the first volume is titled "UNTITLED NOVEL by Stevie Prince". The volumes measure approximately 11 7/16" X 8 15/16" (29cm X 23cm), and were copies of King's original manuscript (with corrections, etc.) bound for proof reading. Does anyone know how many of these were made and what their value might be?

I've never heard of that before. May I ask where you got it?

It was bought from a very reputable book dealer, no question as to it's authenticity.

Would it be possible for you to post some pictures? I'd really like to see it.

It's kind of amazing, really, how these type of things just sometimes appear!

This was in Chris Cavalier's Collection. Four (4) were done.

It sold from Betts at $2000 last year.

Your volume measurement in your hard copy was also our volume measurement when we make a bound manuscript. But with regards to the content, in the world of Pet Sematary, death begets death, lunacy begets lunacy, and the examination of terror is an exercise in darkness, in which no light can be seen.
