One book i really need in the near future --- couple of months -- is UK Carrie 1st edition but as there are so few about i really dont know much on price .
Ive seen one in near fine condition but its a bit too much asking so what is a good price for one in very good condition.
I prefere this edition over the US because its just so so 70s and really creepy with the 70s style bubble type lettering and wierd girl in the foreground etc etc ,not to mention the very low print run.
Any ideas .

A fine UK Carrie will be over £2000 if you can find one. You might get a VG one for £1000.

The price will depend on the condition, and whether it an ex library copy. Also remember that 95% of the cost is in the dust jacket.

My copy (NF condition) cost me £800 (but I think it was listed at £1,000 before). Hard to find a nice and affordable copy for sure!

Coincidently a copy was posted on ebay tonight by a well known King collector...

Starting at $1750. The dustjacket has lots of faults.

I'm still glad I paid $45 for my VF copy over 25 years ago. One of the wise decisions I made as opposed to many of the dumb decisions I've also made.
