book + signed bookplate value

Post by thl »

Hello,
I'd like to know if in your opinion there is a difference in value between 1st/1st Lisey story UK signed on the title page and a 1st/1st Lisey UK signed on a bookplate (with Lisey's logo).

thanks

IMO, bookplates are not worth nearly as much as a "flatsigned" book.

I agree completely. I have both in my collection, and don't value the bookplate nearly as much as the signed book.

thanks for the replies. I already have a signed copy and I was tempted to get a bookplate signed copy too, but I was doubtful. I don't like bookplates very much :)

I wouldn't really turn down the bookplate copy if the price is right. Don't forget--it's an authentic King signature.
