Australian First Ed

Post by 98Superglide »

Hi guys,
I'm looking at some first ed Dark Tower books. The seller has said first Aus edition. I'm thinking its probably a UK edition. The Wizard/Glass. The cover is the same as the UK. I know the price spiked on US version going up over $100. Does anyone have an idea of what a f/vf UK edition would be worth?
Cheers.

The UK edition was a softcover. The only Hodder & Stoughton W&G hardback was Australian.

Wow! I didn't realise we got our own editions published for us. Does anybody have any idea what a first Aus edition would be worth?

Some sellers on eBay try to go as high as $100, but they're dreaming. Usual price for a fine / fine HC W&G goes around $30-40 AUD, but you can still find them cheaper occasionally. I have picked up a few cheap ones over the years - I got a $10 fine copy on eBay a few months back.

H&S Wizard and Glass hardback was an oddity as King's Australian books are usually only published in softcovers.
