Hey guys,

I received an email yesterday from a lady that is looking for a specific book about Stephen King that her month used to own. Unfortunately she has very few details. I'm posting our email exchange in hopes someone wants to help solve a mystery and/or just knows what she's asking for..... The oldest email is at the bottom, work your way up!

Tomas-
Thank you so so much for your help but unfortunately no luck. This is the closest I've been able to find( http://www.centipedepress.com/art/skart.html ) , but she said it's a large square book, (judging by the estimate she gave me with her hands I'd say about 12"x12" and she said she remembers the cover having some sort of collage on it.
Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I’m going to link you to some pages with pictures, see if any of these ring a bell for your mom. I pulled books about King written in the 1980’s to very early 90’s. I’m not worried about who’s selling or for how much at this point I just want to be able to identify the book

These are the most likely hits based on the description.

If none of these are it, check out the following Wiki article and see if any of these titles jog your mom’s memory. You can then good search for images of any titles and see if you mom recognizes the book

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you so much for your quick response! She said the pictures were in color, on the cover she said it was like a rustic sunset type color scheme (she said to the best of her recollection) she got it in probably 1989 or 1990. She said its not a novel or a story its more like pictures about his works

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the email, do you have any other information at all you can provide? Or even narrow it down somewhat? For example do you know the publisher, do you know (roughly) what year your mom had her copy? Anything about the cover, was it in color, black and white, etc what about the interior pics? Color, black and white? What were the pictures of? I’d love to be able to help you out if I can but I’ll need a little more info if possible.

Thanks much,

Hi! I'm searching for a book about Stephen King for my mom. Its a rather large coffee-table-style book with pictures and text. Im not sure if she said it was about him and his work or if it was by him. She used to have a copy but it disappeared in a move many years ago and we haven't been able to track down anything about it or what it would be called. Any help you may be able to provide would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your time
Alex
