Gutter codes

Post by downs1418 » Wed Jan 07, 2015 5:01 pm

I picked a box of King books today. I came across a copy of The Stand with no DJ. The copyright pages does not designate a first edition. There is a gutter code of T45. My main question is the early book club (or any of them) carry the gutter codes or did just the legitimate editions? Secondly, if it is a legitimate edition, is this a 2nd printing? Thanks.

The T45 indicates it's probably a second printing. (If it were T39, it would be a first printing.) Without the dust jacket it makes a good reading copy.
