Hard to Believe that Someone edits Mr King!

Post by TrueNorth »

I am pretty sure that is what I have here.
The edited notes for SK's NONA done by Charles Grant in 1978. There is
whiteout used and his period key was hit hard as it left marks on the
backside of the paper. It is NOT a copy.

Besides the heavier covers there are 32 pages and all corrections are like this from page 17. Most of the pages do have some corrections, nothing has been handwritten.

It is a bound together at one end.

I am wondering if you have ever seen anything like this? I have no idea of what it is worth. Any insight is welcome.

Thanks,
Foster

Not sure what it is, but it is not a manuscript, as it is not double-spaced.

I cannot think of why something of this nature would be produced. It does not fit into any recognised part of the book production. (Blues, proofs etc).

I asked Grant

I emailed Grant Publishers the photos and asked if they know its history. That was on Sunday...hope it lands on the right desk. It definitely has a 1978 patina.
