The Dark Tower VII - Grant artist edition - different ISBN

Post by Specials »

Has anyone noticed that the ISBN on the dustjacket doesn't correspond to the ISBN on the copyright page in the Grant artist edition of DT VII?

The dustjacket says 1-880418-64-1 and the copyright page says 1-880418-61-4

I did not remove mine from the shrink-wrap so I don't know if it is the same way. I'm tempted to open after reading that the artist made some extra sketches on some of them. Did yours have an extra sketch?

Hi,
No...it didn't - that fact was why I opened it in the first place ;-)

Heres mine:

Mine also has the ISBN discrepancy. Its quite possible that there was a typo on either the book or jacket, as its just the last two numbers interchanged, and as far as I know the Artist Edition dust jackets were used just for the AEs...

I also think it's a typo. Just which number is the correct one is the question, though. I don't know how to find that out.

I found a site in which you can look up a book by its ISBN. I got a "book not found" message for the 4-1, but it was able to find the 1-4 number.
