Stephen King Horror Library Collection

Post by and7883 »

So I've been interested in collecting books from the Stephen King Horror LIbrary, a series published by Bookspan of Mr. King's top ten (at that time) horror books by other authors. To date, I have only been able to find the following books:

The Body Snatchers by Jack Finney
The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin
The House Next Door by Anne Rivers Siddons
Ghost Story by Peter Straub

Although it is said that there were 10 books in the series, I have not been able to track down any of the following titles in the Stephen King Horror Library series:

Something Wicked by Ray Bradbury
The Doll Who Ate His Mother by Ramsey Campbell
Strange Wine by Harlan Ellison
The Fog by James Herbert
The Shrinking Man by Richard Matheson

Does anybody know if the remaining 5 titles were ever even published in this series? If so, where have you seen them??

As a collector of both Ellison and Matheson, I have never heard of STRANGE WINE or THE SHRINKING MAN published by this particular press. If they do exist I would be interested in obtaining copies of both!

As far as I know, only those five were published.

I had no idea, that's like the Lord of the rings....One club to rule them all, and darkness to bind them ;)
