Joyland Questions

Post by goatman » Sat Dec 23, 2017 8:07 am

How do you tell a true first edition/first printing of the paperback and also the hardback version of Joyland? I have the paperback with the $12.95 price, but have seen them with a $7.99 price. My hardcover has the price $23.99 on the back, but no price on the inside of the dust jacket. Can anyone provide additional details? Thanks

The second and later printings of the Joyland paperback have the banner across the top of the front cover that reads "#1 NEW YORK BESTSELLER!" The first pb printing does not have this.

I don't have access to my collection so I can't give you more information on the other questions you ask. Sorry.

There was a discussion about all this on TDT.org:

Thanks for the link. That helped. Still curious about the hardcover. Did they not have a price on the inside flap? Only on the back cover?
