The first state shows up so seldom that I'm not sure of a valid value. I paid a little over $65 for my copy a number of years ago. You got a GREAT deal on that one of yours.

The problem is that, as far as I know, no one knows just how many copies are out there. Because the differences are so slight, depending on eBay is unrealistic, because I'm sure lots of sellers don't know the difference.

I'd also like to know the value, just out of simple curiosity. I think I paid 50 pounds for mine about 18 years ago, so I don't know what that is in today's market, with inflation, etc. being factored in.

Its a strange thing about Stephen King books, rare items occasionally have very little value (eg the UK 1st Bachman Books, only 2000 in the first print, but I got a mint copy for 50 pounds last year on ebay), but hey 34 GBP is a big jump from the 1.25 GBP I paid for the book.
